Christmas Eve in Old Town ABQ 2010

I got too lazy to drive up to Santa Fe last night for the Canyon Road art gallery walk, so I went to Old Town Albuquerque instead and had a good time.  The weather totally cooperated.  I love New Mexico at holiday time.  I love luminarias/farolitos (the paper bags full of sand and candles).  A few shots at the end were taken along Rio Grande where some of the ranches put on a great show.  I took a photo of a sign for a shop that has my mom's name.  She should steal it.  Just kidding!

Dear loved ones - this is a message that I feel is very important and I believe it's the most important way that I can wish you a wonderful holiday season....

I emailed Sherwyn (see below as to who he is) yesterday and told him that I'd felt very strongly the night before that the changes are going to start asap. I asked him if they had received information.

He responded that just the night before in their sweat lodge that Spirit came through with the following:

He said, "So, I will give you some information and I'd like for you to share with those who will listen..."

" things will be difficult in the very near future, but we can do something about it and "...start drying foods and saving water and so on." We were also told that "We should not wait for anyone. Don't wait for anyone."

2nd email after talking to Golden Light Eagle and others from the ceremonies they did in South Dakota 12/21&22/10

"...the Grandfathers will come three times to guide us with the Canupa." 

"The Spirit mentioned 'the darkness' is a place of ceremony for them, a place of healing. We are to stay in Love & Compassion. One of the things the Spirit said was, "When we come three times, we will help you with Love & Compassion." This is the key to using the energies of the future. I was told back many years by older and greater elders than myself that, "the future doesn't belong to the development of modern technology, but to Spirituality, the Evolution of the Spirit." In order for us tap into that Energy is to have Love & Compassion.

The cities in the United States are in tremendous trouble. Tell your relatives to get out of the city. Spirit has told us that when you see the eagle in the city, it's time to go home/back to nature/Mother Earth. Spirit also said about the cities, "It's going to be so bad in the cities that a mother wouldn't want her child to survive in it at the time of the changes/shift. "

So, it depends on where you are at when the Big Shift occurs. This energy grid will be non-existent in many areas if not everywhere. If someone has an alternative energy source, then your chances of survival increase dramatically. To remain in prayer and ceremony will be an added chance of survival. Our whole paradigm- thoughts/emotions/ knowings/ sightings will increase and intensify. Anatomically, we will be different.

It's this part, "DIFFERENT" that lots of people don't understand. This unknown concept is what people need to condition themselves for. That conditioning is Spirituality, not Religion. I understand Religion to be man-made doctrine that changes as man's ideas change, but Spirituality never changes. It is the I AM CONSCIOUSNESS.

P.S. I know some of you could be wondering, "who is Sherwyn?" I'd love to expand and share with you - he's an incredible Lakota leader and his brother he refers to is Golden Light Eagle, leader of the Star Family (you can learn more of them on starknowledgetv. com). It's ALLLL about the heart - listen to your heart if there's any possibility that it's resonating with this message, then, as Spirit guided them night before last ... "Don't wait for anyone." this was repeated twice for emphasis. If your heart is pricked talk to me NOW... there may be VERY little time for our final preparations for the most amazing event ever throughout the Universe and from the very beginning of time. We're here now and we get to participate! !! Yay!!! BUT, we need to be awake and aware and we need to know what we are doing.... Stay in LOVE, Keep your faith and be EVER diligent and strong... Pray for our precious Mother who is transitioning now and who wants to take us with her..... :) love, Paula

I miss summer!!  I can't believe I said I was tired of hot weather at one point.

I decided to start painting my bedroom after all...Behr Ultra "Sonata"

What you don't see in these photos is that Karma had just peed on my bed again!  ARGH!  I don't know what has gotten into her.  I'm tired from painting for hours, and now have to do loads of laundry.  I had gotten weak and let her back into the bedroom recently.  And, with having to go in and out constantly while painting, I wasn't paying attention and didn't think she'd do anything naughty.  This was truly her last chance.  She is never stepping foot in that bedroom again.

Anyway, I love the color I opted to get from Home Depot.  It's an ice blue and it looks like it's covering a lot better than the deep purple in my bathroom for some reason and I may be able to get away with only one coat.

The Wedding

Both beautiful and sad....

The wedding. Her name is Katie Kirkpatrick, 21 yrs old. Next to her is her fiancé, Nick, 23. This picture was taken prior to their wedding January 11th, 2005. Katie has terminal cancer and spends hours in chemotherapy. Here Nick awaits while she finishes one of the sessions... Even in pain and dealing with her organs shutting down, with the help of morphine, Katie took care of every single part of the wedding planning. Her dress had to be adjusted several times due to Katie 's constant weight loss. An expected guest was her oxygen tank. Katie had to use it during the ceremony and reception. The other couple in this picture is Nick's parents, very emotional with the wedding and to see their son marrying the girl he fell in love when he was an adolescent. Katie , in a wheel chair listening to her husband and friends singing to her. In the middle of the party, Katie had to rest for a bit and catch her breath. The pain does not allow her to stand for long period of time. Katie died 5 days after her wedding. To see a fragile woman dress as bride with a beautiful smile makes you think... happiness is always there within reach, no matter how long it lasts..... lets enjoy life and don't live a complicated life. Life is too short. Work as if it was your first day. Forgive as soon as possible. Love without boundaries.. Laugh without control and never stop smiling. Please pray for those suffering from cancer. We all have close to our heart. Keep this going.
