Above is a link to some pictures I took yesterday during my short hike up the east side of the Sandia Mountains here in New Mexico. I just want to prove that New Mexico is not just all brown as many think. I have been hiking up a storm during my last week of unemployment. I find a serenity in the mountains that I don't feel in many other places. I like the ocean, but I am much more of a mountain gal. In a perfect world, I'd have the mountains and ocean....oh wait....had that in Los Angeles and hated it. HA HA!
I got my fabulous Baroque looking sofa/chair combo yesterday! I just love the pieces even though they are not at all what I was planning on getting. It's so nice not to have to sit on a folding chair. I still need quite a bit more items for my new apartment, but need to slow down on the cash expenditures for awhile.
